**Application 1**: Since all materials exhibit the phenomenon of thermal expansion and contraction, temperature has a significant impact during the implementation of aspirating smoke detectors. Data shows that for PVC pipes and ABS pipes, when the ambient temperature changes by every 10℃, the expansion and contraction amount of every 10m of the pipe is approximately 10mm. In practical applications, the length of the pipeline often exceeds 100m, and the extreme temperature variation can even exceed 60℃. For example, it can be minus 20℃ in winter and plus 40℃ in summer. In some cold storage facilities, the temperature may be plus 30℃ during construction and minus 30℃ during operation. The length change of a 100-meter pipeline due to temperature variation may reach up to 60cm. As all pipelines are rigidly connected, it is very likely to cause damage to the pipeline structure or disconnection of the joints, which in turn leads to the failure of the system. It is recommended to use this expansion and contraction hose to absorb the generated expansion and contraction amount, so as to protect the integrity of the pipeline system and reduce the maintenance cost.

**Application 2**: During the actual installation process, due to the irregular architectural structures in many cases, a large number of elbows of various specifications are required. It is recommended to use hoses for connection to make the installation more flexible and reduce the installation and maintenance costs.
